Description:This position is for the Flight Test Configuration Manager Digital Transformation (FTCM Dx) capability owner.

The FTCM Dx capability owner will work with the Test & Evaluation Dx Lead and related project leads to integrate FTCM processes into T&E Dx efforts. A primary focus will be with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool development. Tasking includes documentation of processes, definition of tool requirements, direction of software developers, pre-deployment software testing, and training documentation.

A strong background in Flight Test Control Engineer (FTCE) processes is required. The ideal candidate will have experience with BOM structures, flight test aircraft configuration management, flight test mod procedures, flight test service orders, and flight line procedures.

A level 4 employee Typically has 9 - 15 years of professional experience.
Basic Qualifications:
Degree in STEM
Experience in an Active Flight Test Organization
Basic scripting
Basic knowledge of FTCM AeroCodes and Processes
Willingness to think outside the box
Basic knowledge of Flight Test Instrumentation processes
Desired Skills:
Advanced scripting and OOP experience
Intimate knowledge of FTCM AeroCodes and Processes
MES and other production tools experience
As-Built and As-Maintained database experience
Experience or proficiency with TeamCenter/Xcelerator, 3DX, Cameo
Experience performing/shepherding Flight Test modifications
Intimate knowledge of Flight Test instrumentation processes

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
