Description:This position is for the Flight Test Engineering Digital Transformation (FTE Dx) capability owner.

The FTE Dx capability owner will work with the Test & Evaluation Dx Lead and related project leads to integrate FTE processes into T&E Dx efforts. A primary focus will be with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool development. Tasking includes documentation of processes, definition of tool requirements, direction of software developers, pre-deployment software testing, and training documentation.

A strong background in Flight Test Engineering (FTCE) processes is required. The ideal candidate will have experience with Test Program Creation, Test Planning, Test Execution, flight test aircraft configuration management, flight test reporting, prep sheets, Flight Test Requests, and flight test products and processes.
Basic Qualifications:
* Degree in STEM
* Experience in an Active Flight Test Organization
* Basic scripting
* Basic knowledge of Flight Test AeroCodes and Processes
* Willingness to think outside the box
* Basic knowledge of Flight Test Instrumentation and Configuration Management processes
Desired Skills:
* Test program management and reporting
* Advanced scripting and OOP experience
* Intimate knowledge of Flight Test AeroCodes and Processes
* Legacy flight test planning and tracking tools
* Experience or proficiency with TeamCenter/Xcelerator, 3DX, Cameo
* Experience writing, performing, shepherding Flight Test planning processes with IPTs
* Intimate knowledge of Flight Test instrumentation processes
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
