Our client, a leading tech company, is looking for an Art Director to work on their social media efforts. You’ll be working in partnership with a copywriter to create cross-platform campaigns & brand stories.
The ideal talent will have an eye for design, when necessary, and have the ultimate taste level. You’ll have your finger on the pulse of what’s relevant and always be looking at ways that we can activate the brand socially.
The Art Director will have an integral role within the in-house Social team which leads the origination, definition and production of creative content for Social. We are looking for a self-motivated, forward-thinking Art Director with a balance of creative ideation and core design and production knowledge. The role will include hands-on participation by connecting projects into agencies when applicable and guiding art direction for in-house designers as well. The chosen candidate will have a core creative background in creative with strong experience in ideation and design. An interest in AI and experience with experiential creative will be a plus.
Responsibilities:
– Partner with our in-house writer to create concepts and oversees them all the way to execution
– Produce high quality content in-house.
– Communicate and brief in creative concepts to agencies and/or designer
– Build and develop pitch decks to communicate ideas aligned to marketing briefs.
– Pitch and present creative concepts and direction aligned to business strategy.
– Communicate and prepare teammates on design production tasks.
– Collaborate with the Operations manager and Producer(s) to resource the appropriate internal and/or agency artists for creative assignments.
– Create strong working relationships with key partners (channel leads & brand)
– Be an advocate of creative quality and consistency
Requirements
- – 6 yrs.+ experience originating world class creative assets for consumer brands.
- * Concept experience with social campaigns & organic posts in response to real time trends
- – An interest in AI and experience with experiential creative is a plus.
- – Experience in leading both external and internal creative teams
- – Strong knowledge of motion design (does not need to be able to animate, but nice to have)
- – In-depth knowledge of production pipelines (CG, Live action,Social, Brand design)
- – Familiarity in presenting creative ideas to agencies.
- – Skill in delivering the highest quality creative ideas and communication.
– Nice to have: using Figma & AfterEffects for building assets.
– Talent in Eastern and/or Central Time Zone are preferred
