Position: Credit Support Specialist, Credit and Financing
Position Reports to: Supervisor Credit Support
General Purpose and Scope of Position:
The Credit Support Specialist will take responsibility for reviewing applications, credit requests, account setup, account modifications, reporting duties, as well as maintenance of credit account documentation. The ideal candidate will positively contribute to the Credit and Financing group as well as demonstrate Wilbur-Ellis Company’s core values by honoring integrity, diversity, effort, accountability and service, to customers and others.
Key Skills and Abilities Include:
- Undergraduate degree, preferred.
- Associate degree or other equivalent experience, required
- 2-4 years administrative, specialist, or relevant experience, required; credit or financing experience, preferred
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), required
- JD Edwards system experience, preferred

Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:
- Process account applications or credit applications in a timely manner.
- Review new accounts and changes to existing accounts within assigned delegated authority
- Set up new customers and maintain customer records
- Compose professional written communication, such as letters and emails
- Provide support to customers and employees to promote Sales Finance Programs
- Support customers and employees transition into use of the Customer Online Account Portal
- Prepare, file and maintain documents, including crop liens, UCC filings, etc.
- Pull credit bureau reports and/or other trade credit reports
- Respond promptly and professionally to all credit reference requests
- Answer and respond to telephone and email questions
- Lead or assist on projects as assigned
- Manage electronic document storage and organization
- Collection calls on accounts under 60 days past due as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Compensation and Benefits:
- In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $23.61 - $31.50 per hour. Note that wages may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, retirement plans, and other benefits.
