About the Role:
Join a leading national educational organization’s Corporate Communications & Digital Media team as a Digital Media Planner. This position will support the Ad team, working alongside the Director and Assistant Director, reporting to the Senior Director of Digital Media.
This long-term contract position is designed to support workflow peaks and provide coverage during team transitions. The role offers potential for extended engagement based on business needs.
Team Structure:
The department consists of two primary teams:
- Advertising Team (home of this role)
- Social Media Team
Core Responsibilities:
Campaign Management
- Manage full advertising cycle across organizational programs
- Develop and execute digital media campaigns
- Research and assess media plan options based on objectives
- Create and edit content
- Coordinate ad specifications and creative assets
- Implement and monitor AB testing
- Perform quality assurance on ad creative
- Lead daily campaign executions
- Optimize performance based on KPIs
Analytics and Reporting
- Collect and analyze campaign data
- Develop comprehensive campaign readouts including samples, highlights, and recommendations
- Resolve tracking and reporting discrepancies
- Design innovative strategies based on data insights
- Monitor and report on campaign performance metrics
Operational Support
- Manage vendor relationships
- Process contracts and revisions
- Maintain and update campaign schedules
- Ensure timely project delivery
- Coordinate with internal and external partners
Required Qualifications:
- 2-4 years post-graduate experience in digital marketing
- Strong background in digital media operations
- Demonstrated experience with Meta, TikTok, and Google ad platforms
- Experience with display advertising, third-party email, social media, and content marketing
- Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through capabilities
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Creative writing and communication expertise
- Understanding of rich media, dynamic creative, mobile, and video ad units
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with Adobe Analytics Suite or Google Analytics
- Knowledge of Omni-cloud marketing platforms (Salesforce preferred)
Preferred Experience:
- Ad agency background strongly preferred
- Similar corporate role experience will be considered if other qualifications are met
- Portfolio of writing samples will be required during interview process
Note: This role is a long-term temporary position designed to augment normal workflow peaks and provide additional support for the team.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $25 to $30/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
