We are looking for you to join our team as an International Trade Compliance Analyst or Principal International Trade Compliance Analyst based out of Woodland Hills, CA. This position may be staffed as a hybrid role from the Woodland Hills, CA are Rolling Meadows, IL, and Linthicum, MD. This position offers the 9/80 schedule.
The International Trade Compliance Analyst will become part of Northrop Grumman's Export/Import Management organization, working to ensure compliance with export laws that enhance foreign policy and protect national security.
What You Will Get To Do:
• The International Trade Compliance Analyst will develop and manage comprehensive internal export and import controls to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies in the conduct of international marketing, sales, supply chain and other business activities. The International Trade Compliance Analyst will establish business and operational processes for submission and capture of all necessary export and import licenses, permits, certifications, and technology release determinations with the US Government, and for assuring trade compliance through gate reviews of technical data, foreign travel, foreign visits and export and import shipments. They will maintain applicable trade compliance records in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
• The International Trade Compliance Analyst will apply understanding of commodity jurisdiction and classification determination to make determinations regarding applicability of exceptions and exemptions.
• The International Trade Compliance Analyst will participate in training and audit assessment programs to ensure implementation and effectiveness of internal controls. They will develop and deliver presentations, including Export General Awareness training, program/function specific export training, and program/capture export licensing strategy updates to Division leadership.
This position may be filled as an International Trade Compliance Analyst or a Principal International Trade Compliance Analyst.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications for an International Trade Compliance Analyst:
• Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of related experience, or Master's degree plus 1 year related experience. We will consider 6 years of applied experience in lieu of degree requirement.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 10% of the time.
• US citizenship.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance is required.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Basic Qualifications for a Principal International Trade Compliance Analyst:
• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of related experience, or Master's degree plus 3 year related experience. We will consider 9 years of applied experience in lieu of degree requirement.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 10% of the time.
• US citizenship.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance is required.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications for both levels:
• Experience with OCR's EASE software
• Working knowledge of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
• Experience with use of/authorizing ITAR exemptions and EAR exceptions
• Experience providing training in person or via virtual methods
• Experience participaing in corporate-wide working groups for new procedures, regulatory changes, etc.
• Willing to learn and use new web-based applications including work flows and databases
• Experience with making Jurisdiction and Classification determinations

Salary Range: $70,600 - $110,900
Salary Range 2: $87,000 - $136,800
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
