The IT Director – Oracle & Financial Applications is a mission-critical leadership role responsible for the successful implementation, stabilization, and optimization of Lincoln Property Company’s Oracle Fusion environment and related financial systems. This role requires a highly skilled, hands-on technical leader who can seamlessly balance strategic vision with tactical execution. The ideal candidate will not only drive the overall program but also possess the ability to roll up their sleeves, solve complex technical challenges, and explain solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

In addition to leading the Oracle Fusion implementation, this person will be responsible for building a comprehensive Master Data Program, ensuring data accuracy and governance, and overseeing the development of Oracle Analytics for advanced financial reporting and insights. Candidates with strong data architecture expertise and a deep understanding of ERP systems, financial processes, and data integration will excel in this role.

This position is pivotal to Lincoln’s ongoing transformation, requiring a leader who can deliver immediate results while laying the foundation for long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Governance
  • Lead the Oracle Fusion implementation, ensuring alignment between technical execution, business objectives, and key stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain governance processes for all Oracle and financial applications, including Oracle Fusion ERP, EPM, and associated systems.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between IT, Finance, external vendors, and managed service providers.
  1. Project Oversight and Execution
  • Provide leadership during project execution to ensure milestones are achieved, risks are mitigated, and project timelines are met.
  • Collaborate with Systems Integrator and internal teams to manage critical phases, such as testing, cutover, and hypercare.
  • Validate system integrations, data migration accuracy, and functional alignment with business processes.
  • Actively monitor and support User Acceptance Testing and stakeholder feedback to ensure readiness for go-live.
  1. Post-Go-Live Stabilization and Continuous Improvement
  • Oversee post-go-live stabilization, ensuring Oracle Fusion operates seamlessly with minimal business disruption.
  • Collaborate with managed services providers to define and monitor SLAs (Service Level Agreements) for ongoing support.
  • Establish robust incident management and escalation processes to quickly address system issues.
  • Drive continuous improvements and optimizations for Oracle Fusion and related systems based on user feedback and business needs.
  1. Managed Services and Vendor Oversight
  • Partner with Oracle-managed services providers to ensure effective day-to-day support, system health, and performance monitoring.
  • Define KPIs to measure managed services performance and ensure adherence to Lincoln’s operational standards.
  • Manage vendor relationships, budgets, and contracts, ensuring value-for-money and strategic alignment with company goals.
  1. Master Data Program
  • Lead the Master Data Management (MDM) program, ensuring clean, accurate, and consistent data across Oracle Fusion and related financial systems.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and IT teams to define critical data elements (e.g., Chart of Accounts, Vendor Master, Customer Master, and Project Master) and establish data ownership.
  • Develop and implement processes for data validation, standardization, and ongoing maintenance of master data.
  • Ensure robust data governance frameworks are in place, including approval workflows, audit trails, and data quality monitoring.
  • Work with Oracle Analytics teams to ensure master data integrity is maintained across reporting and analytics platforms, driving accurate and reliable insights.
  1. Oracle Analytics and Reporting
  • Lead the design and deployment of Oracle Analytics for advanced reporting, financial dashboards, and predictive insights.
  • Partner with Finance, Controllers, and executive leadership to define KPIs and build insightful dashboards for decision-making.
  • Ensure Oracle Analytics integrates seamlessly with all Oracle Fusion modules and provides real-time reporting capabilities.
  1. Stakeholder Engagement and Change Management
  • Lead training, change management, and communication efforts to drive user adoption of Oracle Fusion.
  • Collaborate with Finance leadership to ensure controllers, CFOs, and accounting teams are equipped for success.
  • Engage market leaders, internal IT teams, and cross-functional partners to optimize workflows, integrations, and system utilization.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Experience:

  • 10+ years of IT leadership experience, with 5+ years managing Oracle ERP (Fusion, EBS) and financial application implementations.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale ERP transitions, including pre-go-live, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Strong experience leading Master Data Management programs, including the creation and governance of key master data elements.
  • Experience in implementing and supporting Oracle Analytics solutions.
  • Experience overseeing managed service providers and driving SLA performance.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion ERP modules (GL, AR, AP, PPM, EPM) and financial reporting tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of Master Data Management principles and tools.
  • Experience in integrating financial applications with other enterprise systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on data quality and reporting.
  • Exceptional project management skills, including risk management, planning, and execution.
