Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Lead Software Engineer 1 in Phoenix, AZ.

Job Role and Responsibility:

Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., Technology Group is hiring a Lead Software Engineer to design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs. Drive complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact. Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large-scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines. Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors. Assist in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives. Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals. Drive projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor. Telecommuting is permitted. Must report in person to the location listed as the work location weekly. Required Qualifications:

Degree required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology or related technical field.

Amount and type of experience required: 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a related role involving software development and engineering experience.

Specific skills required:

Five years of experience with SDLC; JAVA/J2EE; RESTful or SOAP web services; SAS, SQL, or other data management, reporting, and query tools; experience with one of the following databases: Oracle, MS SQL, Teradata, MongoDB, or DB2 LUW; and experience with Agile methodologies. Must possess five years of experience with at least 7 of the following technical skills: • Experience with continuous integration tools Anthill or Jenkins; • Experience with Linux or UNIX; • Experience with Spring, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, and performance tuning; • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools Jenkins or Urbancode Deploy; • Experience in Jira; • Experience with Application Logging Control tools Splunk; • Experience with Maven; Oracle; or SVN; • Experience in application performance, monitoring and optimization tools Blazemeter, JMeter, Splunk, or AppDynamics; Experience in Application Programming Interface (API) or User Interface (UI) design and development; Experience in automations and unit testing using Jasmine, Karma, Selenium, Junit, or Jmeter; Experience in application or software security web application penetration testing, secure code review, or secure static code analysis; • Experience with Calypso.
