Northrop Grumman's Enterprise Compute Services (ECS) organization is seeking an experienced and results-driven Manager to lead our IT Performance Intelligence Team supporting Enterprise Server and Storage infrastructure services. The Performance Intelligence Manager acts as a key driver in ensuring IT systems operate at peak efficiency and align with business objectives.   The role focuses on overseeing the development, implementation, and optimization of performance monitoring and reporting tools, ensuring the delivery of actionable insight to enhance IT systems, processes, and services.  This leader will drive the alignment of IT performance metrics with business objectives, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role is 100% virtual/work from home, preferably near a major Northrop Grumman location - Redondo Beach, CA; Falls Church, VA, Melbourne, FL, Baltimore, MD etc. Working virtually is subject to change based upon business conditions.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

• Strategic Planning and Execution:
• Collaborate with IT leadership to align performance intelligence strategies with business goals
• Drive initiatives to enhance IT service delivery by leveraging data-drive insights
• Collect, analyze, and use data from various sources to help make informed decisions
• Propose business strategy by using data and analytics to anticipate changes and drive results
• Identify potential risks and challenges by analyzing data trends
• Create reports and presentations that use data visualization and storytelling to communicate findings to stakeholders for prioritization and modification/execution
• Create processes for effective data analysis and reporting

• Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
• Develop and oversee the implementation of IT performance metrics and KPIs to measure system efficiency, availability, and reliability to help identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement in both workflows and services
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of IT performance dashboards to stakeholders, including senior leadership
• Monitor trends, identify performance bottlenecks, and recommend solutions to improve system efficiency.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on performance goals

• Release and Change Management:
• Develop and oversee the release process within an agile framework, ensuring timely and quality deployments by coordinating cross-functional teams
• Lead the planning, coordinating, communicating, and managing of the entire release process from start to finish, ensuring quality, mitigating risks, and collaborating effectively with development, testing, and operations teams to deliver releases on time and with minimal disruption
• Plan release cycles, managing risks, and closely monitoring progress to deliver updates efficiently and according to business needs.
• Develop and oversee engagement and development needed to gain adoption and support implementation of changes

• Leadership and Team Management:
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team dedicated to overseeing the development, implementation, and optimization of service performance within ECS specializing in, data analytics and engineering, release and change management, technical documentation, and communication and content development
• Foster a collaborative team culture focused on innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Manage team workloads, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources to meet project timelines and objectives
• Promote a culture that values and uses data in decision-making

• Process Optimization & Compliance:
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance IT system performance and team efficiency
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies related to IT performance monitoring

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or Data Analytics with 8 years of experience or Master of Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) degree with 6 years of relevant experience OR an Associates Degree in a STEM field with 10 years of relevant experience OR a High School Diploma with 12 years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years of experience in IT performance management, analytics, or similar role
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to identify process inefficiencies and potential automation opportunities
• Proficiency in analyzing complex datasets to extract actionable insights that enhance IT performance
• Demonstrated strong leadership qualities, including excellent communication and collaboration, team engagement, and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to support and lead engineering organization efforts aimed towards skill and career development; performance assessment, continuous improvement; and growth
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure performance monitoring tools and reporting platforms
• Proficiency working in server and storage infrastructure environments
• Demonstrated ability to create, maintain and follow standard work documents and checklists
• Experience with SAFe Agile practices
• Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power Bi, or similar platforms for data visualization and reporting.
• Demonstrated attention to detail
• Knowledge of ServiceNow workflows and capabilities
Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of programming languages like SQL or Python to manage data queries
• Risk and Opportunity Management experience
• Agile Certifications
• Knowledge of IT security procedures
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
