This leadership position is located onsite in Grand Forks, ND working on Grand Forks AFB.
Essential Functions:
As primary customer contact for RQ-4 Global Hawk program, the Grand Forks Site Manager shall professionally and technically lead, direct, manage and administer contractor activities at the customer site. The Grand Forks Global Hawk Site Manager shall be responsible as the single point of contact for all technical and administrative activities between USAF and the contractor team. Responsible for cost, schedule and technical performance of the Global Hawk program. Direct all phases of program from inception through completion. Participate in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Coordinate the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract. Act as primary customer contact for program activities, lead program review sessions with customers to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Develop new business or expands the product line with the customer. Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules, identify program problems and obtain solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Direct the work of employees assigned to the program/project from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.
This leader will help lead technical coordination between the customer on site and will work directly with the Global Hawk Program Office, Program Leaders, and Support Functions to ensure program requirements defined by the SOW are achieved within budget, schedule, quality, and closure criteria. He/she may also coordinate and lead preparation of presentation materials to support Program objectives.
The Grand Forks AFB Global Hawk Site Manager will help drive the Engineering and Product Support team's technical performance on the RQ-4 platform. The leader will be expected to facilitate success across all Product Support teams to include Supportability Engineering, Support Hardware, Operations, and Maintenance by driving efficiencies with peers within Product Support and the RQ-4 Program Office.

Basic Qualifications:
• Must have a Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) field AND 9 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in Program Management and/ or Product Support, OR a STEM Master's Degree AND 7 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in Program Management and/ or Product Support.
• Experience managing aspects of program execution including planning, baselining, and implementation across multiple teams.
• Ability to travel internationally up to 10%.
• Must have current DOD Secret or higher clearance
• Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP).
• US Citizenship is a requirement for employment
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's Degree in a STEM area.
• Previous experience working in supportability engineering and/or engineering management
• Previous experience working Product Support efforts on development and/or sustainment programs.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, MS Project, and PowerPoint.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Previous experience working with the RQ-4 platform.
• Previous U.S. Military experience with operations and/or aircraft maintenance background.
Salary Range: $122,800 - $184,200
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
