The ideal candidate will have an extensive computer education with advanced cloud infrastructure experience and a deep understanding of application design from a software perspective. You will assist Platform and Product teams with proof of concepts and evaluations to solve challenges or improve processes. Additionally, you will work with Business Product teams to understand their designs as they move to the cloud or modify their applications, considering long-term infrastructure state drift. Collaboration with our cloud engineering, security, and compliance teams is essential to advise on the best design considerations. You will bring a wide range of cloud skills (CI/CD and IaC experience), acting as both a knowledgeable software engineer and expert in cloud.

You believe in collaboration, syncing with members of our Enterprise Cloud Platform Engineering team and other architects and engineers across the organization in data, security, network, and application teams. Strong communication skills and the ability to partner with others to break through barriers and accelerate adoption of solutions are crucial. The ability to be a self-starter and work both independently and in a group, as projects evolve, is paramount to your success. This role requires strategic planning, analysis, and the ability to learn quickly and translate to action, with the flexibility to pivot based on decisions and outcomes.
