Fidelity Investments has an opportunity for a QA Software Engineer with strong software development talent to join the team. This individual is responsible for crafting and developing automated test cases and in-house software utilities as part of a dynamic scrum team within Fidelity's Advanced Process Solutions division.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, other technical subject area, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years in Software Quality Engineering roles
- Must have experience with Appian, Camunda or other BPM applications
- Proven technical skills (Java, Javascript, Typescript, GitHub, SQL, Insomnia, Postman, REST APIs)
- Solid understanding of Jenkins CI/CD principles and tools
- Coding focused individual while maintaining importance on end to end integrations
- Experience developing automation testing suites and understand their interactions across microservices, BPMN and other architectures
- Practical experience with test automation frameworks (e.g. Cypress, JEST, Cucumber, Selenium, Karate, JUnit)
- Experience working in an Agile team environment
- Possess positive relationship building, interpersonal and influencing skills
- Desire and willingness to learning and strive for continuous improvement
- Ability to work in a fast paced, globally dispersed, agile environment
- Strong technical acuity and engineering mentality
- Ensuring high quality delivery through test automation and execution
- Reinforcing quality direction and contributing to a robust team
- Collaborating with globally dispersed team members
- Communicating across multiple layers of the organization

The ideal candidate is a focused professional with experience in quality software engineering aspects of application delivery and building automated test cases. Has experience working with Camunda or other BPM applications. Works well in an agile environment across global locations. This role will support the building of Fidelity's next generation workflow application.
