We are growing and seeking an RF Systems Engineer with RF analysis and modeling experience for our sunny Orlando facility!!
What You Will Be Doing
The RF Systems Engineer will support RF simulation analysis in conjunction with suppliers, flight test performance trade studies, and RF subsystem performance analysis.
This role includes supplier and cross functional interaction to define the objectives of the trade studies and communicate recommendations.
These activities will support RF subsystem and system level requirements development and performance verification.
Essential tasks for this key role include:
- RF requirements analyses and trade study execution
- Completion of Statements of Work, interfacing with subcontractors, and reviewing subcontractor RF analyses
- Analysis of test data to include signal post-processing, visualization, and comparison with modeled data
- up to 10% travel required

Basic Qualifications:
The RF Systems Engineer must be familiar with using computing tools for simulation such as MATLAB, C++, Linux, and Python.
- Demonstrate a strong fundamental understanding of radar and RF systems and associated performance modeling.
- Assist in the flow down of RF requirements to testable modular hardware and software.
- Demonstrate experience with simulation and analysis tools (MATLAB and C++).
- Support trade studies, provide recommendations to suppliers, and deliver presentations.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance, therefore you must be a US Citizen.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and formal system development.
**A current and active DOD secret clearance.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
