Description:Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in seeking a full-time Stress Analysis Engineer for the Integrated Fighter Group in Fort Worth, Texas.
What You Will Be Doing
A successful candidate will use their technical experience to develop innovative solutions to highly complex technical problems. Responsibilities for this position may include:
- Support F-16 Production and F-22 Sustainment Material Review Board (MRB) repairs to ensure discrepant parts or assemblies meet required strength standards.
- Perform stress analysis on metallic and composite materials, including sizing of detail parts and assessing the strength of primary and secondary aircraft structures and systems.
- Certify new and existing designs by performing strength analysis, releasing drawings, and preparing analysis reports.
- Evaluate and compare structural efficiency and weight for different structural arrangements and concepts through analysis and trade studies.
- Provide input for structural tests, including test requirements, loads, and predicted results.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering technical discipline such as Mechanical, Aerospace, or Civil Engineering
- Experience with structural analysis of primary and secondary airframe structure
- Experience with metallic and composite analysis
Desired Skills:
- Experience with free-body diagrams, classical hand calculations, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) pre- and post-processing, Linux or other computer languages
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate in a team-based environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
