Responsible for the receipt, delivery and inspection of incoming material, central stores/warehousing of program and/or company-acquired material and packaging and shipping services. Provides packaging engineering support, special container design, packaging estimates and format quotes. Ensures the retention of material and supplies for future use and in support of production and/or engineering. Responsible for the accountability and accuracy of physical records. Provides transportation of material and correspondence within the local Northrop Grumman business environment. Maintains functional records in support of internal and external audits to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures. Manages, develops or carries out delivery in accordance with local established business policies, procedures and public law. Ensures accuracy of delivery information. Ensures: finished goods inventories, non-proprietary government property inventory, transportation, import/export requirements, and customer returns in conjunction with business area personnel.
We are currently seeking a candidate that will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of incoming and outgoing material and company assets. They will provide support to packaging engineering, special container design, logistics estimates and format quotes. They will be responsible for the coordination and execution of NG transportation deliveries both long and short haul. They will ensure the retention of material and supplies for future use and in support of logistics, production and/or engineering functions. They will be responsible for the accountability and accuracy of physical records. They will provide transportation of material and correspondence within the local, regional, and national Northrop Grumman business environment. They will maintain functional records in support of internal and external audits to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures. Manages, develops or carries out delivery in accordance with local established business policies, procedures and public law. Ensures accuracy of delivery information.
This position may be filled as a Level 2 or Level 3 based on the qualifications outlined below.
Basic Qualifications:
Level 2:

• Bachelor's Degree and 2 years logistics experience and/or classified asset scheduled/handling and/or dispatching experience OR in lieu of degree 6 years of logistics experience and/or classified asset scheduled/handling and/or dispatching experience
• Valid driver's license
• Must have an active DOD Secret Security Clearance.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Special Program Access Clearance
• U.S. Citizenship is required
Level 3:

• Bachelor's Degree and 4 years logistics experience and/or classified asset scheduled/handling and/or dispatching experience OR in lieu of degree 8 years of logistics experience and/or classified asset scheduled/handling and/or dispatching experience
• Valid driver's license
• Must have an active DOD Secret Security Clearance.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Special Program Access Clearance
• U.S. Citizenship is required
Preferred Qualifications:

• Forklift and Crane operation experience
• Current Special Program Access
• DOT regulation knowledge
Salary Range: $58,000 - $87,000
Salary Range 2: $71,600 - $107,400
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
