About the Role
If you're passionate about payroll, absence, and time tracking and want to work on a global stage, this is your dream role. The Global Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking Architect will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining Workday's own global payroll, absence, and time tracking solutions. This role requires deep Workday expertise, a strong understanding of global payroll and absence regulations, and a passion for creating exceptional employee experiences. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including People & Purpose, BT, and Finance, to ensure our Workday environment meets the complex needs of our global workforce.You're an innovative problem solver who can quickly identify and understand issues and drive towards effective resolution! You are passionate about providing sophisticated solutions with the next generation of product functionality in mind.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and architect scalable and efficient Workday payroll, absence, and time tracking solutions to support Workday's global operations.
Lead the implementation and configuration of Workday modules, including Payroll, Absence Management, Time Tracking, and related integrations.
Stay up-to-date on Workday product updates and new features, and proactively find opportunities to leverage them.
Collaborate with business customers to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and develop solutions that meet their needs.
Provide technical guidance and support to other team members and end-users.
Fix and resolve system issues, ensuring the smooth operation of Workday's payroll, absence, and time tracking processes.
Partner with platform services resources to ensure seamless data flow between Workday and other systems.
Research and analyze best practices in global payroll, absence, and time tracking, and recommend improvements to Workday's own processes.
Contribute to driving the overall global payroll strategy and roadmap for Workday
About You
Basic Qualifications:
12+ years delivering large scale consulting engagements with a combination of Workday HCM, Compensation, and Benefits
12+ years of proven domain experience
Other qualifications
Holds active certification in a Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking functional areas; bonus if holds certification in Workday CA, UK, AUS payrolls.
Outstanding analytical reasoning and problem-solving capabilities with proven abilities to think creatively and strategically to solve and answer key business questions/problems
Good interpersonal and collaborative skills, with a professional demeanor and the ability to communicate optimally with all levels of management, colleagues, and vendors
Ability to adapt to modification and changes to project plans, demonstrating flexibility to implement new strategies and tactics to accommodate these changes
Experience with agile methodology and systems (Jira, Confluence)
