Job Summary
Medline is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to implement its ESG strategy globally, with a strong emphasis on non-financial internal reporting. This new role sits within Medline's ESG Program and will oversee the administration of non-financial data at the company, including performance indicators and organization attributes. This role will be an integral team member responsible for developing, managing and monitoring processes for operationalizing ESG strategy, including the distribution of controlled, non-financial data to targeted internal stakeholders. This role will closely partner and strategically align with Corporate Marketing and core business functions that routinely consume and leverage credible, controlled and consistent non-financial data.Job Description
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
ESG Program Implementation
- Lead coordination with Medline's global ESG teams to align ESG policies, procedures, and communication
- Work with the Director of ESG to communicate and integrate Medline's ESG strategy to the global markets
- Manage global sustainability projects and measure key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Coordinate with internal and external research, analytical, and consulting teams to develop sustainability activities and protocols
Non-financial Internal Reporting
- Set a strong tone for non-financial data governance across the enterprise in lockstep with ESG's strategy
- Perform ongoing due diligence to understand non-financial data requirements, timelines and format from targeted internal stakeholders
- Ensure non-financial data is securely accessible and available in a simplified way for targeted internal stakeholders
- Build and socialize an intake, prioritization and backlog process for controlling new, non-financial data on a go-forward basis
- Own, maintain and monitor non-financial dashboards or other data visualization tools for presenting select non-financial data to inform data-driven decisions and a consistent organizational narrative
Change Management and Communication
- Define efficient internal communication structures and channels to facilitate the routine movement of ESG and non-financial data
- Design and govern an enterprise communication plan, including objectives, key outcomes and frequency, that will underpin processes to distribute ESG and non-financial data to targeted internal stakeholders
- Serve as a liaison between ESG's non-financial data governance team and internal data consumers
- Establish and implement a streamlined process, including roles and responsibilities, schedules, revision and retention procedures, for routinely compiling, packaging and distributing non-financial data to internal consumers
- Deliver training and build awareness for process improvements and significance for communication governance
- Nurture intensive change management plan to support adoption for new distribution and usage processes
- Effectively communicate standards, expectations and policies for receiving and requesting non-financial data
- Develop rapport and strong relationships with core functional leaders
- Provide leadership and vision for process improvement and optimization
- Collaborate and align with Corporate Marketing, Legal and Finance to streamline external stakeholder content
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
Bachelor's or master's degree in sustainability or business
Certification / Licensure
None required.
Work Experience
At least 5 years of work relevant work experience.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Robust knowledge for process design, implementation and continuous improvement
Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work independently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage ambiguity with logic and effective prioritization
Strong relationship management

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$115,440.00 - $173,160.00 AnnualThe actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
