As aSenior Environmental HSE Engineerat the Phoenix Engines site, you will serve as a functional HSE expert, providing Environmental & Safety leadership and technical support to the facility. Work within robust operating and management systems to reduce risk. Strengthen systems to ensure compliance with regulatory and Honeywell requirements. Partner with business leaders and employees to continuously improve HSE culture, awareness and accountability in support of business objectives.
You will report to theDirector HSE and work fully onsite at 111 S 34th St. Phoenix, AZ 85034.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Management and continual improvement of environmental programs including industrial wastewater, hazardous waste, air emissions and storm water compliance.
- You will also assist in managing Title V compliance and permitting for an aircraft engine testing / manufacturing facility.
- Integrate HSE processes and safe work practices into daily operations
- Lead HSE initiatives and continuous HSE improvement as an integrated business partner to support achievement of site goals and ensure zero harm to everyone
- Drive Excellence and engagement in HSE through management, leadership and employee involvement, worksite risk assessments, hazard prevention and control, and HSE training
- Deploy and manage environmental initiatives to continually improve performance of Environmental programs and processes
- Develop and implement environmental and safety programs to maintain compliance with all HSE regulatory and company requirements
- Oversight and project management of environmental capital projects

YOU MUST HAVE
- 7+ years of HSE programs management experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Environmental HSE programs experience
WE VALUE
- Bachelor's Degree
- Expertise in industrial wastewater quality regulations, environmental standards, and treatment processes
- Experience with environmental compliance for metal finishing and/or plating operations
- Air Emissions & Hazardous Waste programs management experience
- Working knowledge of local and Federal environmental regulations
- Knowledge of Hazardous Materials and Dangerous Goods
- Professional certifications such as Certified Hazardous Materials Manager or Practitioner
- Manufacturing industry experience
